We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Alison Gerlach to our Centre. Dr Gerlach is an expert in inclusive and responsive early childhood practices whose work draws on many years of occupational therapy with dis/abled children in different contexts.
Dr Gerlach is Associate Director of the School of Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria in Canada who has a wealth of knowledge from working with Indigenous organisations and First Nations people in British Columbia.
She joined some of our team in person with more connecting via zoom to share her thoughts on early childhood equity.
What an opportunity to tap into international expertise!
