Choices, choices, choices!
We were pleased and proud to hear that the University of Sydney Year 4 medical students who have been on rural placement with us were all offered their first preference for internship next year! Five of them will be returning to Lismore Base Hospital, with one student accepted at Coffs Harbour Hospital.
Congratulations to them all! It is fantastic that these students have chosen to start their medical career in a rural location. This is a reflection on their education and placement experience in the Northern Rivers region and we are fortunate to have these outstanding University of Sydney students join our regional workforce and community.
