Sim Man joins the team

Our Simulation Centre team and regular users of our new Sim Man recently participated in a Virtual Instructor Lead Training (VILT) session. The session was designed to help everyone discover the additional functionalities of our new Sim Man.

Staff from Lismore Base Hospital were given a one-on-one introduction to Sim Man in the session.

The Anaesthetic team (Dr’s Andrew Peart and Steven Koh) got an overview of the difficult airway options, the ED team (Dr Duffy) were impressed with the additional trauma skills they will be able to practice using Sim Man’s advanced capabilities.

The realistic skins and articulating joints make this mannikin very realistic, allowing for more high-fidelity scenarios in the teaching/learning environment.

Keep an eye out for the Sim Man launch as we introduce him to the world!
