The ABCD program began in 12 health centres in the Top End of the Northern Territory in 2002. It has subsequently grown into a nation-wide collaborative program guiding research on improving the quality of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary health care. Over 170 health centres have formally participated in the research, and many more have used continuous quality improvement tools and processes that have been developed through the collaboration.
The current phase of work addresses ‘Integrated Quality Improvement’ – i.e. quality improvement work that aims to enhance quality of care across the range of priority areas of primary health care and to enhance systems to support quality improvement across multiple levels of the health system.
The seminar will include a series of short presentations providing an overview of the ABCD program of work, with a focus on key findings, research translation and supporting implementation of quality improvement programs in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary health care.

To attend the seminar or organise video-conferencing please contact Aimmee by Wednesday, 21st June 2017 [email protected]
