2019 RCPE Symposium – Infectious Diseases – programme

Dear colleagues,

This CPD accredited infectious diseases symposium is designed to inform a broad range of medical, and affiliated specialities, on the latest research and clinical practice guidelines for a range of common challenging infections in the hospital and community based setting, as well as preparedness for the next respiratory virus pandemic. The interface between mosquitoes and man is the focus of the global session, with the key note lecture given by an internationally recognised dengue expert. Attendees will come away with up-to-date knowledge of the latest practice guidelines of the topics covered, and a deeper understanding of data gaps which afford an opportunity for further research and collaboration.

Like before, this event will be televised live from the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh in Scotland. Attendance for the event is free-of-charge courtesy of the RCPE and the Northern NSW Local Health District. Attendees are welcome to attend selected sessions and the event is open to all health professionals and trainees.

Please note that Dr Joseph Lee has kindly agreed to host the event in my absence. RSVP via email to [email protected] by 12th June 2019.

We look forward to sharing another evening of learning.

Best wishes,
Tien
