Target Audience: Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Junior Medical Officers and Ambulance Officers who care for post-operative patients.
Course Overview: This four-hour workshop is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills required to manage post-operative emergencies. The workshop features a combination of lectures and immersive simulation scenarios. The immersive scenarios provide the participant with the opportunity to practice their teamwork and communication skills while caring for a patient with a post-operative emergency.
Specific topics include: Pulmonary Embolus, Hypovolaemic Shock, Post-operative Sepsis and Fluid Overload.
