Workshop Overview
Nationally cardiac emergencies are a leading cause of death. As a health clinician it is important to be able to immediately recognise and manage life threatening cardiac emergencies.
The cardiac emergencies workshop utilises a combination of didactic presentation, clinical skills and immersive scenarios to further develop the knowledge, technical skills and teamwork
required to identify and manage a cardiac emergency.
Topics include: Cardiac Arrhythmias, Fibrinolysis, External Pacing, Cardioversion and
Defibrillation.
