Aseptic Techniques, Vascular Access & Lumbar Puncture

Three Techniques in this one day workshop:

Aseptic Technique: Participants will gain an understanding of the procedure and rationale behind the use of aseptic technique for the prevention of infection.

Vascular Access: Participants will have a better understanding of the principles and techniques surrounding peripheral, arterial or central venous access.  Also covering anatomy, physiology and device selection.

Lumbar Puncture: Designed to assist Medical Officers develop the knowledge and skills required to perform a lumbar puncture and provide high quality safe care to adult patients undergoing the procedure.
