Friday Clinical Discussion – an Orthopaedics case presented by USYD Medical students Emily & Stephanie

All Medical and Allied Health students welcome to attend – light lunch provided before the session.

Friday Clinical Discussion is a multidisciplinary discussion where students present a case and engage the audience in some of the challenges the case presents.

Students learn to :

• Synthesise clinical information in order to develop a ‘big picture’ view of clinical case management
• Become familiar with the roles of other health disciplines in multidisciplinary case management
• Gain skill and confidence in applying a health discipline perspective to a multidisciplinary patient case
• Hone communication skills, including communicating with clinical peers & supervisors, as well as presenting your case in a public speaking environment
