Using a combination of interactive lectures and immersive scenarios the workshop provides staff working in the aged care sector with
the opportunity to develop both the clinical and team skills required to manage an acutely unwell resident.
Topics include: chest pain, basic life support, foreign body removal, asthma, head injury, hypoglycaemia, and clinical handover.

Course Overview:
This two-day ALS Instructor Program is suitable for health professionals who are responsible for teaching advanced life support in a clinical setting. Ac-credited by the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN) and based on the latest 2016 Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, the pro-gram includes a comprehensive Adult ALS manual, plus a 2-day interactive workshop including assessment and certification.
