This two-day ALS Program is suitable for health professionals in the provision of adult advanced life support in a clinical setting. Accredited by the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN) and based on the latest 2016 Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, the program includes a comprehensive Adult ALS manual, access to an E-learning quiz, plus a 2-day interactive workshop including assessment and certification.

The mechanical ventilation workshop is designed for clinicians working in critical care areas who wish to enhance their knowledge of Mechanical Ventilation.
Topics include Invasive Ventilation, Non-Invasive Ventilation and High Flow Nasal Cannula. Different ventilation strategies will also be discussed.
Breakout sessions will provide participants with the opportunity to practice setting up the following equipment:
Scenario based activities will also provide participants with the opportunity to trouble-shoot common ventilator problems.
